Reiki is an elegant system of healing founded by Dr. Mikao Usui in the early 1900's in Japan.

Pronounced RAY-KEY
Reiki translates to  UNIVERSAL LIFE FORCE ENERGY.

Reiki is Universal Transcending Love in it's purest form.

Reiki is the expression of unconditional love in it's purest form. It has faciliated the healing and recovery of millions of people on our planet, works with animals, and can heal situations and family dynamics.
Reiki works is non-denominational and works with all belief systems. 

Reiki is a personalized journey, opening portals of transformational and sustainable changes representing your best and highest goals, both known and unknown.

Does Reiki aide in trauma recovery?

 
 Yes! Reiki aides in the stabilization of PTSD, C-PTSD, Narcissistic Abuse, Panic & Anxiety Attacks, Insomnia, Add, ADHD, Bipolar,Adrenal Fatigue, Fibromyalgia, Supportive in conjunction with counseling and therapy. Works well with chiropractic care and other holisitic modalities.  Reiki is used to alleviate the side-effects of chemo and other cancer associated treatments. 
Reiki is used in hospital settings, in conjuction with mental health counseling, and in recovery from addiction in conjuction with a recovery therapist. 

​PLEASE NOTE WHEN SCHEDULING YOUR APPOINTMENT:

I always have healthy snacks and beverages on hand if you need one.  Please ask!  If you have a history of stroke, heart disease,  are diabetic, hypoglycemic, have hypertensive or hypotensive issues, please let me know when scheduling your apppointment.  I do not keep any snacks with nuts on hand due to the high incidence of allergies.  

If you have a medical condition where you need to take your medication or eat at a particular time, please either have it with you or schedule your appointment when it  does not interfere with your regular schedule.

Please let me know of any scent allergies when scheduling your apppointment.  All linens are cleaned with a neutral and hypoallergenic laundry detergent and I refrain from the use of perfume or scents.

What does a Reiki Session look like?

Reiki is done with the hands on or off the body with the client/patient fully clothed and comfortably situatuated on a massage table.  The Reiki Practitioner will ask if you give yourself permission to receive Reiki before proceeding and ensure that you are comfortable. A Reiki Session can last from 20 minutes to an hour and half depending on the goal of the session. You, the client, sets the goals & boundaries for the session, and your feelings and preferences are of the utmost importance.  WHAT WILL I FEEL DURING A REIKI SESSION? You may feel heat, cold, energy moving in your body (sometimes as expressed in movement of the hands, arms, legs, or feet).  It is not uncommon to induce a deep relaxation response where you may notice a change in your breathing, pulse, or heartbeat.

Do I have to receive a Reiki Session in person to receive a benefit?

*Reiki works at a distance just as effectively as in person.  Spirit Blossoms offers Reiki Sessions via Zoom, and our clients feel the healing energy just as strongly (sometimes more!) than the session being done in person.  Reiki addresses the body/mind/spirit/mental processes, and is a worldwide recognized bio-energetic healing modality.
